Good times in Branson, MO

Last night we stayed in Branson, MO (made famous by the movie "She's Out of Your League"). A quick stop over as we make our way to Austin to see our friends Jackie and Jason. We had a filling dinner here at The Great American Steak & Chicken House (Paul insisted we eat at the place with the big chicken).

And it was worth it because we bought the $10 souvenir photo and learned that the chicken Paul is happily pointing to is Mr. Peck, the world's largest hand carved chicken!

 

We're now getting ready for about a 10 hour drive to Austin where we'll get to drive through a bit of Arkansas and Oklahoma before hitting Texas. We look forward to what's in store for us today.
