I recently wrote about my journey through breast cancer (and after) for the Young Adult Cancer Survivor Network (also posted on the Fred Hutch Survivorship Program blog). Here's the link:
I'm always willing to talk about my cancer experience but for the most part, I am not the type to share a lot to the masses. Writing about this really helped me. Even though I was diagnosed almost 4 years ago, having cancer is an experience that I think about everyday. Thank you for being a part of my life and sharing in my (and Paul's) journey.
Here are a few photos from December 2010 when I was in the middle of chemotherapy and my family flew to NYC to celebrate Christmas with me and Paul. One of my most favorite Christmases. Photo credit to my brother in law, Anson Kee and my niece, Emily Chen.

I named my wig Bessie which oddly made it easier to accept wearing it/her |

I think we were all laughing so hard from playing Jenga |

So bald! I'm not sure what my sister and I are looking at but Emily looks deep in thought. |

Reading to my nephew, Branden. He has more hair than me! |

Still had energy to swing Branden around |

I don't know why I felt the need to give the Jenga blocks bunny ears (my sister Lil is on the left) |
